Notes: I received a few question and clarifications here is my response.

Q1: the image of the eclipse should be as bright on the left as on the right am I correct?
A1: the image i created is actually cut to almost a half and the camera angle is changed and zoomed. if i upload the actual full resolution of the 3D render, it will not be pleasing as it is too long 4500x1080 the only part that was captured by the left side is the shadow of the covering moon :)

Q2: why is the moon too big?
A2: i intended the moon to be large for it to be more appealing so i zoomed it on the render camera and did some tweaks on the rays :)

Q3: why is the aspect ratio 16:9?
A3: for 1080p/720p HDTVs and LCD monitors :)

Any chance of a 1920x1200 for this and maybe the Eclipse 2012?

too bad it's not on my priority list because most of the screens today are actually 16:9 but maybe someday if i do have the time.

far out that's amazing, if I had the money and/or points I'd buy the print.
